I have today off from babysitting and I always have Fridays off, so welcome four day weekend! Today I'm finishing making the zucchini bread. I'll have nine loaves in the freezer (5 regular and 4 chocolate) and we will have consumed three. LOL Not me! I've had two or three pieces over three days and the rest have been the kids and Tim!
I need to clean these wood floors really bad, so when the last loaves come out of the oven, I'm steam mopping! I think I can make time to lay out and read a little today too. Yay me! Oh, and of course laundry! Last load is in now. See ya!

Wednesday
Wow. Didn't realize it had been several days already since I'd posted. Busy, busy, busy. Let's see.....since I last posted, can I even remember what I did? Last Friday the kids and I went to the Wave Pool with Cathy and her kids. A great time as always. Man I miss having her around. Wish she still lived here.
Saturday we spent the day working around outside. Tim and Kayla did the mowing and trimming here and at the church. Kayla and I cleaned the church. Dylan and I cleaned out the inside of the van and washed it. Dylan pulled leaves and raked grass. (He needed to EARN some money for the fair this week). Dropped the kids at the fair that evening and Tim and I went out to dinner.
Sunday was lazy. Yay!
Monday, Cade was back of course. I did a little cleaning, Kayla and I played in the pool with Cade for a while, laundry, cooked dinner, then dropped the kids plus cousin at the fair again.
Tuesday I was exhausted. I've been trying to walk every day, but not sleeping is really wearing me down! Skipped the walk today, but managed to make 6 loaves of zucchini bread out of the giant zucchini someone left on my porch last week along with some huge cucumbers. I suspect it was my next door neighbor, but haven't seen him to ask. Dropped the kids plus Jake and Bailey at the fair again, then they spent the night.
Today: Leaving the boys at home and taking Kayla for her orthodontist appointment with Bailey and Cade in tow. Then we head to the mall. (See why the boys are staying home!? lol) Later, I'm sure I'll be dropping multiple people off at the fair!
I think I'll list what I have cooked for dinner this week so far.....Mon- BBQ chicken on the grill, potato casserole and green beans. Tues- Taco Ring and salsa rice. Today- Roast in gravy, mashed potatoes and corn.
So excited for Alex to come home this weekend! He'll be home sometime Sunday. I've missed that boy! I have to enjoy the next four weeks because then....it will never be the same. My life will be forever changed because he leaves for college. Hmmm.....I think I'll do a post on that at a later time.

Thursday
Sleepy!!! Didn't sleep that great and now I'm getting ready to take a lil nap. Cade is sleeping, so I'm going to take advantage of that today. I've already gotten my walk in for the day and I have a full list after I get up from naptime. Book Club is tonight and I'm ready! Love those ladies and love my downtime with them. I'm bringing snacks tonight, so I'm making cinnamon roll ups and chocolate fudge!
Had a Great time with my best friend for life, Cathy, who is in from NC. I miss her so much! We only get to see each other a couple of times a year. We met at Fat Patty's for dinner last night and spent a good long time talking. Miss that!
Today, I hope to get the snacks made for Book Club, do a load of regular laundry, strip beds, wash sheets and put on clean ones and working a little in Dylan's room. He's been at camp and comes home this evening. I wanted to do a "semi" deep clean of his room while he was gone, but I haven't gotten it done yet.
Tomorrow: The Wave Pool with Cathy and her kids!!!! Yay!

Hello World!
Well here I go again. I've tried many times to create a blog and I just never keep up with it.
It's summer, so I would like to say I'm not as busy as usual, buuuut......It seems like it never stops anymore! Alex is on week five at Boy Scout camp and this week Dylan is there too. Kayla has been to California with FBLA this summer and has had some sleepovers too. They've been to the pool, had friends over, Kayla's had band and next week the fair starts. For the first time I bought the kids fair passes. So I guess I'll be running every evening dropping and picking up next week!
I guess that's all for now. I was just trying to come up with some things to say to test this out. Hope to be back soon!!!!
